Chesil Beach Centre Managed by the Dorset Wildlife Trust has a wealth of information about Chesil Bank and the Fleet, as well as housing the Chesil Beach Cafe a great spot for a hot chocolate and lump of cake after a walk on windswept Chesil.

Chesil and the Fleet are part of Dorset Coastlink, a network of sites and organisations working together for Dorset’s coastal and marine environments, for information on Coastlink and other Coastlink centres visit www.coastlink.org.

Chesil Bank and the Fleet are a part of Dorset and East Devons Jurassic Coast, Englands first World Heritage Site.

The Ferrybridge Inn can be found right next to the Portland Beach Road, before you pass over the bridge to Portland, with great food, entertainment and a friendly atmosphere, and only two minuets walk from the Fleet Observer.
